Timber is going through quite a renaissance in both the construction and interior design sectors.
New build developments are increasingly turning to timber-frame for its superior performance in terms of speed of build, practical delivery and environmental qualities. Meanwhile, the growing market for extensions, loft-conversions and other forms of home refurbishment is helping drive growth across a wide range of structural and internal joinery products. The upturn in home and commercial improvements is also driving and increase in panel products being used in surface and interior design markets. The TTF want to make sure that this is a renaissance that lasts! This means ensuring that customers get exactly the products they need.
TTF Members source timber from all over the world to feed this growing need. As such, the TTF have a duty of care over the products that enter the market.
They have a strict Code of Conduct at the heart of their operations which all TTF members must adhere to. This ensures that all products sold by TTF Members are fit-for-purpose and designed to meet the needs of the market.
Central to the Code of Conduct is the Responsible Purchasing Policy (RPP) – a strict, third-party audited environmental due diligence system to ensure all timber products are from legal and sustainable sources.
It is only by adhering to all of these measures that Members are allowed to use the TTF logo.
It also means that buying from a TTF Member means buying with confidence. Whatever your timber needs may be, simply Look for the Logo and Buy from a TTF Member.
